Instrumentation Retrofits
Controller upgrades, including optional computer interfaces, chart recorders, and redundant temperature safety cut-outs, are available for all chambers. We can provide and install a controller package, or we can install a customer-provided package. We are trained on or familiar with most of the OEM systems in use today. Refrigeration Retrofits
Chambers using old, ozone-depleting refrigerants, such as R12, R502, R13, and R503, can be retrofitted with environmentally safe refrigerants that comply with the Clean Air Act and Montreal Protocol.
Performance Retrofits
Performance upgrades, such as air dryer packages to achieve low humidity levels, boost heat for quick heat ups, LN2 or CO2 boost cooling kits for fast temperature pulldowns, and rate of change, can be retrofitted to most test chambers.

Controls, or controllers, are a very important component in an environmental chamber. Since the controller is what the operator will be interfacing with, it is important to have a control system that is sophisticated yet simple to understand, as well as performs and functions properly. In some cases, a simple ramping controller is all that is needed due to the nature of the test. Or, it may be desirable to have a control system that can be operated remotely through a computer interface or VNC, have email notifications in case of unit malfunction or other trouble, and have many other features as well.
